• It was snowing heavly as we left Potsdam. The drive up on Friday was very slow going. Took us just under 4 hours to drive from Potsdam to La Petite. But we and everyone else made it safely.
• It continued snowing Friday night, and on Saturday morning we had a good foot of new snow. The temperature was 20 degrees F, and during the morning with sun and a few clouds.
• The trails had all been groomed earlier that morning -- some of the best skiing at La Petite ever.
• Many of us did the long trail #7 in the morning, and trail #4 in the afternoon, with a short break for a tube ride down the glissade.
• Our newcomers to La Petite this year were Tom and Karen Fuhr.
• We had a little more snow Saturday night and Sunday morning, so we had some fresh snow on the trails for Sunday morning ski.
• The food was good and plentiful as usual.
