The meeting was called to order at 8:10 by Russ Nelson ringing a prayer bell. There followed a suggestion that our president resembled a ding-a-ling. The minutes of the October meeting were accepted as read.

Kathy Petersen volunteered the Petersen home for the christmas party to be held Dec. 15th at 5:30pm. Susan Meyer and Shirley Metcalf volunteered to be callers.

In keeping with tradition, Bob Meyer was appointed Keeper of the Rules, despite a mild protest from Bob Meyer. There was a brief discussion of changing to drawing lots, which was dropped.

Russ Nelson asked the treasurer if their was anyone present who had not paid dues. After receiving a quick $10, Heather Nelson replied that everyone present had paid their dues.

Bob Meyer reminded everyone of the Leonid meteor showers in the wee hours of the next morning. There followed a brief astronomy lesson and the meeting adjourned at 8:30pm.
