Thank you to JoAnne and Dick Partch for hosting the Derby Day meeting at their beautiful home in Hannawa Falls, New York and providing a delicious pork dinner. The tradition every year at the Derby meeting is to pick names of horses out of a hat. (Each year Dave Bray provides the names for the hat.) The horses that came in first, second and third at the 135th Kentucky Derby were Mine That Bird, Pioneer of the Nile and Musket Man. There were several winners who picked these horses. Congratulations to Jutta Fitzsimons for winning the hat contest.

The balance of our Ski Club account is $227.74.

The next meeting will be the annual Family Fun meeting hosted by Karen and Tom Fuhr. The meeting will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2009 with a tentative time of 2:00 p.m. at their home in Colton, New York.

Respectfully submitted,
Karen and Tom Fuhr
