A short business meeting was called to order by Pres. Russ Nelson at 7:48pm. In attendance were: Dave and Tellie Bray, Bob and Ellen Burns, Joe and Jutta Fitzsimmons, Ron and Doris Frazer, Gene and Carolyn Kaczka, Bill and Trish Lewis, Judy Lowell, Joan LaComb and Paul McGrath, Bill and Dorothy Mein, Bob and Susan Meyer, Russ and Heather Nelson, Dick and Joanne Partch, Bill and Cathy Petersen and Louise Straub.
Bill and Cathy Petersen were thanked for hosting tonight's meeting. Susan Meyer and Heather Nelson were thanked for phoning. The minutes from the Novemeber meeting were read. The treasury balance is $184.50 following $25 for the ham tonight and the receipt of $20 dues.
Joanne Partch told us what would have happened if there had been 3 wise women instead of wise men and Bob Burns explained why computers are female.
Heather Nelson read the Official Ornament Exchange rules followed by the awarding of the special door prizes. Paul McGrath and Joan LaComb received the poinsettia and the Meyers won the fruit from the Beans.
The ornament exchange was a big success, as usual. Some of the ornaments changed hands MANY times. Doris Frazer was particularly interested in one that reminded her of the way Ron "used to ski." However, she was unable to take "Ron" home with her.
The January meeting was scheduled for the 19th at the Nelsons. People are advised to come at 2pm for skiing and 4pm for eating.
Respectfully submitted,
Heather Nelson
